Crystal River is home to one of the most productive fishing regions in the United States. MEET YOUR CAPTAIN: LOCAL KNOWLEDGE MAKES THE DIFFERNCE
I’ve spent years on the water fishing Crystal River and the surrounding Citrus County area. Season after season, I’ve learned how the river systems, bays, and nearshore zones change, and I use that local knowledge on every trip to put my guests in the best position for a successful day of fishing. When you step on my boat, you’re fishing with someone who truly knows these waters.
That experience allows me to adjust quickly based on conditions—whether we’re targeting redfish and trout along the grass flats, exploring shallow backcountry creeks, or heading toward the gulf when it’s right. Safety, patience, and results are always the priority, and my goal is simple: give you a smooth, enjoyable trip and a great day on the water you’ll want to repeat.

No exaggerations—just real stories from happy fisherman who’ve experienced the thrill of fishing with Captain Teddy in Crystal River! Our clients return year after year for a reason.
Awesome day fishing. Teddy knew exactly where to go to catch fish. He was very attentive to our teenager and seven year old. Teddy made Lucas birthday one he will never forget. He took great pictures throughout the day. I would recommend Reel Addict Fishing Charters without hesitation. We are looking forward to repeating this experience next year when our grandsons visit.
If you are looking to fish the Crystal River area look no further, Teddy is an amazing guide! We have fished multiple times with Teddy, he is super patient and engaging - great with kids! I have his number on speed dial for whenever we are in the area, he is that good!
We really enjoyed our fishing trip today with Captain Teddy. We caught a variety of fish including Speckled Sea Trout, Red Fish, Cobia, and Mangrove Snapper. We would have caught a Snook and a Sheepshead, but they were able to escape. In addition, we saw dolphins, sharks, stingrays and sea turtles. It was a fishing trip we will always remember and Captain Teddy went above and beyond to make it extra special. Thank you
