WHEN IS SCALLOPING SEASON IN FLORIDA?
Florida’s scalloping season typically runs from July 1st through September 24th in our areas of Crystal River, Homosassa and Ozello. In Steinhatchee it runs from June 15th through June 30th.

What a day! Teddy took us fishing to some of his honey holes, and we were able to take home some top slot reds. It was a super calm day, so they spooked easy, but the ones we caught were worth the struggle! I'm glad we weren't "taxed" by the lemon shark, but that would have been exciting, too. Can't wait to go again, Teddy!
